about sarah..

After 15 years training in both classical and contemporary dance, Sarah’s passion for creative expression and movement translated seamlessly when she discovered yoga. Sarah trained closely with Nicole Walsh and Rod Galbraith of InYoga, and has always sought out global opportunities to learn from senior teachers who inspire personal growth.

Since her first Kundalini yoga class over 10 years ago Sarah has been fascinated by the transformative effect of mantra and breath work. Following her 200hr foundational vinyasa course she took a lengthy period to study Tantra and Hatha yoga in India. Here she fell in love with the spontaneity of various forms of dance and Authentic Movement, which guides students to connect inward and allow natural impulses move the body freely, while remaining centred on the breath.

Adding further depth with Mel McLaughlin’s Yin training, Shiva Rea’s Lunar Flow and exploring vocal range with Carmella Baynie, Sarah has now completed over 650 hours of immersive teacher training, leading her heart-felt classes to be woven together with easeful movement, tradition and fluidity.

The transformation Sarah felt through her yoga practice sparked a profound inner journey, which she believes is the true essence of yoga. Sarah lost her mother to breast cancer in 2008, and the struggle with grief and anxiety left her unsure where to turn. It was the support of her yoga practice that began to unravel layers of stress and tension and broadened her passion for a holistic way of living.

Sarah’s work has shifted to a more intimate, communicative setting, working as a Women’s Wellness coach. Sarah supports women through their spiritual growth in a 1:1 setting, providing accountability, empathetic support, and active listening to ensure her sessions are 100% client-focused and personalised to the individuals needs.

Knowing the doorway to her purpose has opened, Sarah is honoured to share this knowledge with others on their own journey through life.
